Some Flowers for Mothers Day

In honor of Mother’s Day I snapped a pic of some flowers in the South end before heading off to the library to study for finals.

Enjoy! More in-depth treks to come post-finals week….

Barking mad for the Barking Crab

If your wandering takes you all the way down to the wharf, then I highly recommend stopping into the Barking Crab for some clam chowder and a nice cold Sam Adams. After A long day of walking around the bright lights and community style seating at the Barking Crab was a great way to unwind next to the water.

While I only tried the soup and some fried clams, I could tell this place meant some serious seafood business. The grub isn’t the only draw for this restaurant though. They also feature a lively bar and live music.

If you won’t take my word for it, just ask Adam Richmond, host of Travel Channel’s pig out show Man vs. Food.

Don’t you just love it when something so old and decrepit can still be so beautiful.

Street Art – Boston Style

This building definitely sticks out like a sore thumb in the Kenmore Square/Commonwealth Ave. are.  It’s still one of my favorite parts of my daily walk to campus though.

I’m still dying to know more about it though… anyone? anyone?
